Omsk-Inform: Neftyanik-Titan wins the first game in the season

Today Omsk basketball team had the first game in the new season. They played against Sparta&K from the city of Vidnoye (Moscow region).

It was even stevens for the first half of the game with a slight lead on the Omsk team. However, midway through the third quarter the guests took an 8-point lead. But Neftyanik turned the game around. The Omsk team took a lead thanks to Ekaterina Golovchenko’s two three-point shots and accurate shots performed by Maria Cherepanova and Daria Egorova.

It’s interesting that in the fourth quarter both teams were only able to score 11 points. Thus, Neftyanik-Titan won the game and the total score was 59:51. The best players of the Omsk team were Daria Levchenko – 15 points, Deria Egorova – 13 points, and Arseniya Matveeva – 12 points.

On October 25 there is a rematch in the Moscow region. Neftyanik-Titan will now have to maintain its lead. On October 5 the Omsk team has its first game in the new Russian championship. The team will play against MBA.
