Company’s declaration

"Omsky kauchuk" shares concern of the city residents due to the declared unfavourable weather conditions period. However, the company is not the only source of phenol emissions in the city. For its part, the company is making maximum efforts to reduce environmental impact by implementing a set of measures.

In 2020, the company completed a large-scale reconstruction of phenol and acetone production, which made it possible to reduce atmospheric emission factors by several times.

At the end of 2022, the environmental impact from phenol production by the company was 2 times lower than the permitted emission, for ammonia - almost 3 times.

The phenol-acetone unit re-equipment project is only one of the stages of a comprehensive modernisation project at Omsk petrochemical site.

In 2021, the company completed the reconstruction of cumene production with an isopropyl alcohol production unit. The launch of isopropyl alcohol production became the basis for the development of ecoautochemicals based on isopropyl alcohol, which also minimises environmental impact.

"Omsky kauchuk" is implementing a plan of measures to improve production and technological processes at the company aimed at increasing environmental safety.
