Former employees of the plant were told about modernization of AO “Omsky kauchuk”

More than 20 former employees of the petrochemical industry visited the revamped production of phenol and acetone and saw the new IPA production unit. The management and union committee of AO “Omsky kauchuk” initiated the tour. The meeting was held as part of the events timed to coincide with the 60^th anniversary of the plant.

The tour started with visiting the plant’s museum. The second part of the event was visiting the plant’s production sites which were very interesting for the guests.

“We have organized such tours before. Each time we note that it is certainly pleasant and interesting for people to visit the shops where they used to work for many years. They have a chance to see how the plant has changed and to have a look at new and upgraded productions. Today the production is almost automatic and the guests were eager to see petrochemical production control processes. Our guests were utterly excited to visit the production site. They said that the plant had changed beyond recognition,” deputy head of human resources Irina Tachenina commented.

The modernized phenol and acetone production shop, which has been upgraded with new technologies, was highly rated. The guests also rated the implemented automatic systems in operator rooms.
