Hockey tournament for the Cup of GC Titan was organized in Omsk for the first time

The competition was held on September 15-17 at V.A.Fetisov Ice Hockey Stadium. 8 armature teams from Omsk and the region took part in the tournament.

GC Titan was represented by three teams: Titan 40+, Titan 2 40+, Kauchuk and Titan 18+ that played outside the main event. They all played against the well-known hockey teams of the region: Born in USSR, Battery Paradise, Union and The Fifth Legion. 

In the first two days winners of subgroups were chosen. In the finals, the GC Titan Cup was awarded to the winner.

“The history of Omsk is inextricably connected with hockey – a remarkable sport that tempers players’ character and teaches them not to give up. GC Titan has been supporting junior and adult hockey in the Omsk region for 20 years. We are also a reliable partner of the Night Hockey League in the region. I hope this tournament will begin a new tradition to hold this event every year. It is also my hope that more and more teams will participate in the tournament,” Chairman of the Board of Directors Mikhail Sutyagisnky said.

As a result, the team Titan 40+ became the winner and was awarded the Cup. A solemn medal ceremony was held at the end of the event.
