Successful experience of interaction between business and non-profit organizations were presented at the international forum #MYVMESTE (#WETOGETHER) by Alina Rybina, Deputy General Director for Corporate Communications of the AO GC Titan. She told the participants of the lecture “I want to work with business, but don’t know how to do it” about the most effective format of joint work between business and non-profit organizations.
“If we want joint projects of business and non-profit organizations to be successful, first of all, it is necessary for the partnership to be environmentally friendly. I call it an environmentally friendly attitude when the initiating party clearly understands what it is doing, why it is doing it, and what kind of help it needs. Taking a loan for something incomprehensible, saying “let them fund us, and we will decide how to spend money”, is no longer suitable. Business wants to implement joint projects with responsible and conscientious organizations, whose leaders are real holders of the ideologies that they promote,” Alina Rybina stressed.
The AO Group of companies Titan is developing four popular formats of interaction between business and non-profit organizations: targeted assistance, implementation of joint programs and events, project support and operator activities.
“It is extremely important for non-profit organizations, especially at the start of their work, to establish effective interaction with various organizations, including business community. Today we looked at ready-made business cases: how to properly approach cooperation with such organizations", the initiator of the Football League for Mothers project, Olga Ovchinnikova noted.
Among the most successful projects of the AO GC Titan and non-profit organizations are the educational projects "Eco-thinking" (participates in the National Prize "Clean Air 2021") and "Eco-Saturday". Based on the implementation experience of these projects, Alina Rybina spoke about the details of planning activities, budgeting, and promoting ideas.
“It is obvious that the AO GC Titan continues to focus on the environmental direction and is ready for new projects. And the information announced today will allow us, representatives of the non-profit sector, to understand better what initiatives and programs we can offer to be successful,” Head of the Kaluga Regional Department of the Russian environmental movement, Sergei Gubanov said.
