SPIEF 2023: experts discussed the development of domestic industry in the UAE

Mikhail Sutyaginsky, head of Delovaya Rossiya's Committee on Chemical Industry, became the speaker of the panel session "Industrial clusters in the UAE: new opportunities for Russian exporters".

 The meeting was moderated by Business Ambassador of "Delovaya Rossiya" in the UAE Maxim Zagornov. The panel session was devoted to industrial clusters in the UAE and opportunities offered by the country for Russian industrialists. In particular, possibilities of the country's free economic zones were presented.

 Mikhail Sutyaginsky, head of Titan Group and chairman of Delovaya Rossiya’s Chemical Industry Committee, accepted the invitation to visit three free economic zones in the United Arab Emirates.

"We have seen how efficiently logistics are built in these territories. A big advantage for an industrialist, for a producer, is the possibility to quickly get raw materials or send finished products to the customer. In Russia, given the size of the country, transportation and logistics is a big expense," said the expert.

The expert also said that there are several conditions that make the localization of domestic production sites abroad effective. These are the availability of logistic hubs, a well-thought-out market, and a guarantee of sales of goods produced from the products of chemical industry enterprises.
