The Group of Companies «Titan» held ecological relay

On April 27, employees of the Group of Companies «Titan» and «Poliom» Ltd (joint venture of the Group of Companies «Titan», Gazprom Neft and SIBUR) and their children took part in voluntary Saturday work day «Ecological path» arranged as relay.

The event took place in the area under the company's patronage — Omsk Veterans Garden Square — kept by Titan for the last five years.

This time traditional clean-up of the square garden intermitted with funny tasks — intellectual, artistic and sportive — all devoted to care for the environment.

For example, the teams were to sort the garbage, solve ecological riddles, draw a promotional poster, show the knowledge in resource saving and solve other tasks. Planting out of trees was one of the stages of the contest: household shop of the PJSC «Omsky kauchuk» prepared young oak plants. Workers of Omsk Polypropylene Production Plant were the winners in this ecological game.

This is the second voluntary Saturday work day for «Titan» employees in this year. First event took place during the citywide Saturday work day on 20 April when the employees went out to clean up the area of the garden square together.

Month of cleanness is also regularly arranged in areas adjoining to industrial facilities of the Group of Companies «Titan» along Gubkin avenue and Krasnoyarsk tract. More than 1000 employees of the Group of Companies «Titan» and «Poliom» Ltd. will take part in the events on cleaning and beautification of the areas in 2019.

It should be noted that Titan employees take part in the Saturday work days within the framework of implementation of corporate voluntary program «Kindness of Titan». Many times the project earned regional and federal awards including «Omsk Crystal Heart», «Siberia Crystal Heart», ChemiCos, «Volunteer of Russia» and other awards.
