Titan-SM, Limited Company (a part of the AO GC Titan) production laboratory at the Novocherkassk site received the international accreditation status of ILAC - International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation.

The successful accreditation receiving will allow the Novocherkassk laboratory marking its protocols and reports with ILAC.

Its application contributes to international recognition of the laboratory tests and examinations results by the industry and government bodies. Less than 70 laboratories in Russia have been allowed to use the international ILAC mark.

The application of the mark will increase competitiveness of the products manufactured by the Titan-SM, Limited company on the global market. These products do not need to be retested when selling to foreign countries.

In order to receive the accreditation, the specialists assessed the qualifications of the personnel, the condition of equipment and buildings as well as a number of other factors affecting the quality of laboratory research and testing. The auditors confirmed full compliance with all necessary requirements.

ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) – is the international organization specializing in accreditation of laboratories and inspection authorities aimed at improving quality and credibility of the laboratory tests being conducted. The accreditation process covers about 68 000 laboratories in 126 countries. One of the key cooperation purposes is to minimize technical trade barriers.
