«Titan-Polymer» to boost cooperation between Pskov business entities

Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation visited Pskov region during his work trip. The work trip program of the Minister included visiting the exposition of Pskov plant «Titan-Polymer» at booth of industrial enterprises of the region.

Presentation of the region's industrial potential took place in Administration of Pskov region. «Tital-Polymer» was the first enterprise presented before the Minister. Mikhail Sutyaginsky, head of the Board of Directors of the «GC «Titan» JSC told to Denis Manturov about the role of anchor resident of the Special Economic Zone «Moglino» in the development of Pskov region.

The head of «Titan» noted that «Titan-Polymer» could boost the development of industrial cooperation in the region and become the basic enterprise to form a cluster of enterprises which would use the products manufactured by «Titan-Polymer» LLC — BOPET-film and PET-pellets as raw materials for their production. Besides, Mikhail Sutyaginsky added that some services can be outsourced. For example, construction and installation companies can act as contractors.

«Currently the design documentation of BOPET-films production is under expert review, after which a construction permit will be issued. We expect to obtain it in November and then we will be ready to move to construction site», — told Mikhail Sutyaginsky about the status of the product implementation.

Summarizing the conversation Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry of the Russian Federation highly praised the cooperative approach of the project implementation of the GC «Titan» as well as noted the importance of the development of scientific background and skilled staff for future production of polymers.
