Pskov information agency: Vice-Prime Minister Denis Manturov visited “Pskovsky Zavod “Titan-Polymer” LLC

Denis Manturov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of Pskov Region have visited “Pskovsky Zavod “Titan-Polymer” LLC in Moglino SEZ today, November 3, the correspondent of Pskov information agency reports.

Denis Manturov and Mikhail Vedernikov inspected the main workshops of the company and also visited the production of pallet blank parts. 

"Titan-Polymer" is part of the Group of companies Titan and is an anchor resident of the SEZ "Moglino". Implementation of the first stage of a large-scale investment project to create import-substituting production of BOPET films and polyethylene terephthalate (PETF) has already been completed. Construction of the plant and start-up of production of biaxially oriented PET film (BOPET) with a production capacity of 72 000 tonnes per year and off-site facilities installation have already been completed.

Now the second stage of construction is being implemented: establishment of polyethylene terephthalate (PETF) production with a production capacity of 140 thousand tonnes per year.

The established complex for PETF pellets and BOPET films production will become a basis for further development of the inter-industry cluster with participation of Pskov region enterprises, which will make it possible to create about two thousand additional jobs. In addition, it is planned to form an engineering centre to create a scientific background for the development of innovations in domestic polymer products.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GC Titan Mikhail Sutyaginsky told Vice-Prime Minister Denis Manturov about the way the production work is arranged.

It unites more than 15 petrochemical and agro-industrial enterprises.

It should be reminded that in September, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov visited the "Titan-Polymer" plant. During his working visit, he highly appreciated the technological effectiveness of the enterprise and stated that "Titan-Polymer" is an industry-led plant not only by Russian, but also by world standards.
